Mr. Speiser is a founding member of the firm and in 2015 Mr. Speiser became Of Counsel to the firm.

 

Mr. Speiser received his B.A. from Brandeis University, in 1968 where he graduated cum laude, and a J.D. from New York University in 1973.

 

Mr. Speiser is a member of the New York Bar, the New Jersey Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Ninth and Tenth Circuits; the U.S. Supreme Court; and the U.S. Tax Court.

 

Jeffrey Speiser was an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, New York from 1973 through 1977 where he was a member of the Homicide Bureau. In 1977, he joined the United States Department of Justice Organized Crime and Racketeering Section as a Special Attorney, where he remained until 1980. In 1981 he joined the United States Attorney?s Office in NewJersey, as an Assistant United States Attorney and was Chief of the Bank Fraud and Robbery Unit until 1981. He was also counsel to the Planning Board of the Township of Maplewood from 1988 until 1993.

 

Mr. Speiser is a recipient of the United States Department of Justice Special Achievement Award. He is also the author of "Selective Service Law", published in the Annual Survey of American Law (1971-1972).
